Purpose & Scope :
This list contains the most
essential spare chassis parts for at least 10 different Series/Types of
Mercedes, some gasoline, some diesels. This compilation of Parts covers
and cross-references over 26 Mercedes-Benz auto model &
variations fitting the criteria "Passenger Car", (plus more
when considering variations like "special body / ambulance,
etc...)
These systems and their respective components are covered:
Clutches, transmission components, brakes, springs, front end
components, shocks, sub-frames, axles, propellers, wheels components,
steering, fuel, exhaust and cooling systems, gauges, etc... and
everything chassis related... a myriad hardware types and functioning
system items. The list is really an exhaustive in-depth detailed
compilation for 14 production years of Chassis Spare Parts.
As technology improved, exports expanded, auto fashion evolved and
industry dynamics changed over the 14 years, many of these parts
evolved. Some were improved, many were re-engineeredto be backward
compatible while accomadate the newer models. Sometimes the
part
was unchanged but its number were updated or replaced for many
other internal reasons. Many had
subtle design
improvements to overcome both minor and sometimes major issues within
systems. Others were updated or improved structural integrity, changing
