For sale is a USED automatic transmission torque converter that was removed from a 1967 Mercedes 300SE Coupe, but will also work on other year and model Mercedes 300 with the big 6 cylinder slanted engine. The number stamped into the housing are 112 257 00 05, k.1, 222 322 L, 112 250 0140. We have visually inspected this item and did not see any damage to it, but we have a no way of testing it. Race2Recovery starts new Dakar challenge
Mon, 06 Jan 2014A TEAM of disabled ex-soldiers has arrived in South America to take on this year’s Dakar rally, known as the toughest motoring challenge on the planet. Race2Recovery, the team of severely injured servicemen and civilian volunteers, is taking a second shot at the Dakar after last year becoming the first all-disabled team in history to complete it. This year the 5,600-mile course travels through Argentina and Chile, crossing the Andes mountain range and the Atacama Desert, where temperatures are expected to top 40 degrees Celsius.
Jag Land Rover factory closure ‘already decided'

Meadow Brook concours changes name

The vintage-car event is held annually in suburban Detroit on the grounds of the Meadow Brook estate, located on the campus of Oakland University. The estate is the former home of Matilda Dodge Wilson, the widow of auto pioneer John Dodge.
