SEMA 2008 show report: Pontiac G8 and Solstice

Time to don your oxygen masks as we scale the dizzy heights of Pontiac’s performance peaks. While the standard GXP isn’t short of grunt with a 6.2-litre 415bhp V8 under the bonnet, the Street swings with a hefty 7.4-litre punch that’s good for 638bhp and 600lb ft of torque.

The Megane RB8 comes in a fetching shade of Twilight Blue – inspired by F1, you may like to know – with contrasting Platinum Grey on the door handles, mirrors, spoiler and front splitter for a bit of added interest. Local Motors Texas Competition Results

Local Motors has announced the winners of the Texas Motor competition, the independent car company's 19th competition. Tasked with designing a vehicle that was a ready-made solution for sportsmen in the great state of Texas, entrants were asked to submit their creations via the Local Motors website. The winning design, selected by members of the Local Motors community, was created by Acatrinei Lucian Nicolae.
