Condition:Used

This is a used Mercedes-Benz COMAND 2.0 Stereo GPS Head Unit out of a W210 E320 Wagon.  It worked flawlessly when removed from the vehicle, and looks as though it was well cared for.

If the buyer wants, it will accompany the factory 6-disc CD changer from the same vehicle, but the CD changer did not work in the vehicle; as it would not eject the cartridge, I believe it to be the motor, but I am not sure if there is anything else wrong with it.  I would appreciate an email from the winning buyer letting me know either way before I package the item for shipping.

Buyer to pay actual shipping; I will invoice the winning bidder after the auction and let you know the total.  Free shipping with Buy It Now only.

Note: I will be going on vacation with my family this coming week, but I will be available to answer questions to be best of my ability.  I will not be able to ship the item until I return near the end of the listing window on August 3rd.  Thanks for your understanding.

MINI Speedster back on the cards

Tue, 07 Apr 2009

Mini Speedster from 2001 - looks set to form the basis of a new MINI Speedster Based on the MINI platform, the Speedster version was talked about as long ago as 2001, but never made it to production on the first MINI platform. But perhaps having now covered just about every variant they can think of, BMW has decided that now is the time to revive the car and get it in to production. Small Roadsters, in the vein of the old British open-topped 2 seater ( and its modern ‘Homage’ version – the MX-5) will, I’m sure, see something of a renaissance in the next few years as people start to turn away from big, profligate cars, but still seek some fun motoring.

SkyTran to trial maglev two-seater transport system in Israel

Wed, 25 Jun 2014

California-based skyTran has signed an agreement with Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) to build a test version of its patented maglev transport network.  The 500 meter-long demonstrator will begin operation late next year, and is designed to prove the system's potential for reducing road congestion by lifting passengers above the highway, into space that's not currently utilized. The skyTran system is a network of computer-controlled, two-person vehicles that use maglev technology. Users will request one of the system's two-seater pods to the nearest available station using a smartphone app.
