BMW had a number of debuts at the Detroit auto show this year -- we got our first (official) looks at the 2014 2 Series coupe, 2015 M3 sedan and the 2014 M4 coupe on the show floor. The electric i3 city car and its plug-in hybrid i8 supercar cousin were there as well, along with a massaged 2014 BMW Z4 convertible. Lamborghini SUV – it’s NOT a rumour

The Lamborghini SUV has been confirmed by an Audi manager Rumours of a Lamborghini SUV Concept at the Beijing Motor Show have been confirmed by a senior Audi Manager. We reported a few days ago that Quattroruote, an Italian car magazine, were claiming that the much rumoured Lamborghini SUV Concept would debut at the Beijing Motor Show in April. We did comment that the report seemed like the rumour mill gone mad, but the fact that Lamborghini were calling the report ‘Speculation’ lead us to conclude the story was probably true.

Mazda's new design direction is embodied in the new Shinari concept car. Modeled to announce to the world the new styling language of future Mazda road cars, the Shinari ushers in a new look to replace the somewhat tortured Nagare mantra that has fizzled into a damp squib on the sides of the latest Mazda 5 midi-MPV. The Shinari won't be shown at the 2010 Paris motor show (apparently it's being held back for a 2011 Geneva debut), yet this is a landmark concept for Mazda design, under the new leadership of chief design Ikuo Maeda.
