Vintage Original, Mercedes-Benz C107/R107/W107 Coupe/Convertible Right Side Door Jam Chrome Garnish. Ready to install on any driver or restoration. Came off of a 1975 450SLC car we are parting out. Light patina, Jam Garnish nearly perfect on exposed side, some corrosion from metal contact on back side. Should fit all C107 and R107 cars, and possibly other two door 1960's and 70's Mercedes models, but please check your application first before bidding. Porsche Panamera diesel owners can boost the fun with TechArt power upgrade

The German Porsche tuning haus TechArt revealed a power-upgrade kit for the Porsche Panamera diesel. While the 30-hp bump from the stock 250 horses to 280 won't light the world on fire, the 37-lb-ft jump in torque, from 405 lb-ft to 442 lb-ft, is sure to be a kick in the pants. The 0-to-60-mph time drops by 0.1 second from stock to 6.6 seconds, but the top end is up 3 mph to 153 mph.

By Jesse Crosse Motor Industry 23 September 2008 11:00 Kia has unveiled a portfolio of new environmental technologies, including a 1.4-litre Ceed with stop-start (due in the UK in 2009), a Ceed hybrid and the latest version of its fuel cell-powered Sportage. The Korean manufacturer is investing heavily in research and development and will increase its spend on R&D from £2.2 billion this year to £2.6 billion by 2010, combined with a 40 percent increase in manpower at its research centres around the globe. The money is being spent on developing downsized, turbocharged engines, efficiency improvements to conventional engines such as friction reduction and the separation of accessories like water pumps from the engine.

The 2011 Range Rover It’s not exactly a surprise after we ran a story a few weeks back revealing that the Range Rover was getting a nip and tuck for 2011 and a new TDV8 – a 4.4 litre one. And that’s exactly what Land Rover has revealed tonight. The 4.4 litre TDV8 gets parallel sequential turbocharging to produce 309bhp and 516lb/ft of torque.
