Initially these control units only had simple functions. Thus, originally only the information on the fuel quantity and the injection time was transmitted by signal to the nozzles. The R15 is Audi’s second diesel endurance sports racer, after the R10 TDI that first raced in 2006. It’s designed to fight Peugeot’s oil-burning 908 and Aston Martin’s petrol-powered LMP1.

To be shown at the Chicago Auto Show at the start of February 2008, this is the new Dodge Challenger SRT-8. From what we can see there are plenty of of hat-tips to the original, such as the rectangular exhausts the size of letter boxes (although they usually came in pairs) and a rear lip spoiler like the one on the tail of the 1970 Challenger T/A.
Ferrari 458 Italias ‘selling for £200k in UK’
Wed, 10 Feb 2010The first examples of the new Ferrari 458 Italia supercar are trading for close to £200,000, price guide Glass’s Guide reports today. It claims wealthy enthusiasts are paying a £25,000 premium to jump the queue and get into one of the first 458s in Britain. The Italia lists at £169,545 in the UK, with first deliveries due for summer 2010.
