We have to confess we moaned about a few details on the F-Type when it arrived, and about the price. But we soon realised that, rather than being a pricey alternative to a Porsche Boxster, the new Jaguar F-Type was actually a real alternative to the Aston Martin Vantage – turning it in to something of a bargain offering.
SIR CHRIS HOY is planning a competitive comeback in 2016, with the Le Mans 24 hours race the target rather than the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games. The 38-year-old is Britain's most decorated Olympian with six gold medals, including two at London 2012, and has won 11 world titles. He announced his retirement in April 2013, but his passion for motor racing and competition will be fulfilled after agreeing a deal with Nissan, which will see him compete in the 2014 British GT Championship.

It held so much promise, the 2010 German Grand Prix. The Ferrari recovery seems to be underway and capable of fighting with the Red Bulls. McLaren were a bit off the pace, but then they have all year yet still lead both the constructors and drivers due to a combination of reliability, skill and tactics.
