Mercruiser 140hp High Performance Intake Exhaust Manifold on 2040-parts.com
Parma, Michigan, United States
|
Up for auction is a high performance intake exhaust manifold for the 140HP Mercruiser. What makes this special is that it takes the larger carburetor as found on the V6 and the larger horsepower marine engines. The smaller 135HP carburetor will not fit. Bolt pattern is 2 inch by 3 3/4 inch. This came off my 20-foot Thompson with a 19 pitch prop. The motor would turn 4950 rpm. Keep in mind this was a very heavy boat. The boat's transom went bad. I'm using the motor in another boat with OMC outdrive, so all my Mercruiser parts won't fit with what I'm doing. The exhaust manifold has absolutely zero repairs. It still has the original paint. It has no cracks and no defects. The little bit of surface rust in the pictures is due to storage in a damp garage. This will fit many more years than what the category allowed. You are bidding on 3 pieces in total. I guarantee that these pieces are functional. |

Porsche Panamera S E-Hybrid does 62mpg in the hands of motoring journalists
Tue, 28 May 2013The Porsche Panamera S E-Hybrid – a Panamera with a plug-in hybrid powertrain – arrives last month, along with a 2013 facelift for the Panamera range , complete with claims from Porsche that it could do 91mpg. That was never going to happen in the real world, but Porsche has followed up its official economy figures with a degree of proof that the Panamera E-Hybrid can actually achieve very impressive economy numbers in the real world, and in the hands of motoring journalists – a group not renowned for their light touch on the throttle. At a press event in Hockenheim, Porsche let car journalists loose on the Panamera E-Hybrid for a total of 42 drives over a total distance of 750 miles and returned an average of 62mpg.

Honda Civic Type-R MUGEN (2009) first official pictures
Mon, 22 Jun 2009By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 22 June 2009 18:00 Honda's Mugen Motorsports performance tuning arm has released the first official pictures of the company's stripped-out Civic Type-R hot hatch. Details are still sketchy, but let's start with the visual changes. There's a deeper and wider front spoiler (sans fog lights), a new grille, a vented bonnet, plus vents just behind the front wheels. At the back the Civic's triangular exhausts have been replaced by two huge bazooka tailpipes, which fit beneath a more angular rear bumper, and there's also a double-decker wing to make rear visibilty even worse.
