This was a spare and I don't know its history for sure, but it probably came from an early '70s L6 motor, either the Merc 160 or 165. Not bound up, but will probably will need a rebuild.
Brand:Mercruiser UPC:Does not apply

Mercruiser Rochester 2 barrel carburetor.  This almost certainly came from an early '70s L6 motor, either the Mercruiser 160 or 165.  The stamped number, 07012452, matches a Rochester number, but I can't find a cross-reference to the Mercruiser part number.

The linkages work easily, but it should probably be rebuilt before using.

Vauxhall Adam price from £11,255: Paris 2012

Thu, 27 Sep 2012

The Vauxhall Adam – Vauxhall and Opel’s MINI competitor – will start from £11,255 when it goes on sale in January 2013. And with prices announced from £11,255 it looks like the Adam may just have a fighting chance of taking a piece of the market dominated by MINI and the Fiat 500. Of course, GM are hoping that no one who goes in to a Vauxhall showroom will go out with a basic car – a vast array of style and customisation options are the order of the day with the Adam – but the headline starting point is a decent one.

Plenty of contenders for Pebble Beach honors

Wed, 18 Aug 2010

The one we saw first was Sam Mann's 1930 Duesenberg J Graber Cabriolet. It was entered in the Tour, a 60-mile pre-Pebble cruise around Monterey, down to Big Sur and back, which gives cars entered in the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance a chance to show that they are more than just pretty things. Mann's Duesey had all the looks of a winner, with its long front hood, flowing fenders and two seats way in the back.

SEMA 2008 show report: Pontiac G8 and Solstice

Fri, 07 Nov 2008

By Ben Whitworth Motor Shows 07 November 2008 10:01 According to Pontiac, its G8 GXP Street, G8 ST and Solstice GXP concepts at the SEMA show ‘raise the performance bar even higher, taking style and sportiness to the highest levels’. Time to don your oxygen masks as we scale the dizzy heights of Pontiac’s performance peaks. While the standard GXP isn’t short of grunt with a 6.2-litre 415bhp V8 under the bonnet, the Street swings with a hefty 7.4-litre punch that’s good for 638bhp and 600lb ft of torque.
