“This was a spare and I don't know its history for sure, but it probably came from an early '70s L6 motor, either the Merc 160 or 165. Not bound up, but will probably will need a rebuild.”

Mercruiser Rochester 2 barrel carburetor.  This almost certainly came from an early '70s L6 motor, either the Mercruiser 160 or 165.  The stamped number, 07012452, matches a Rochester number, but I can't find a cross-reference to the Mercruiser part number.

The linkages work easily, but it should probably be rebuilt before using.
