THIS IS A VERY NICE MERCRUISER 4.3 (V6) LOWER UNIT. THIS LOWER WAS USED IN FRESH WATER ONLY. THE OIL WAS CLEAN WITH NO CONTAMINATION. SKEG LOOKS GOOD. THE OUTDRIVE WAS PRESSURE TESTED AT 15 PSI FOR 20 MINUTES WITH NO LEAKS. WILL NEED A NEW IMPELLER. THE LOWER WAS SANDED PRIMED AND RE-PAINTED AND LOOKS PRETY GOOD! Sat, 26 Oct 2013Sebastian Vettel (pictured) is in pole position for the Indian Grand Prix Sebastian Vettel had a chance to take the 2013 F1 drivers title in Japan, but Alonso managed to spoil that by finishing in fourth spot. But there seems little to stop Vettel taking the title in India tomorrow after a dominant display put him in pole position for tomorrow’s race. Vettel took pole by 0.752s from Rosberg with Rosberg’s team mate, Lewis Hamilton taking third spot and the second Red Bull of Mark Webber lining up in fourth.

Sat, 16 Aug 2014Tesla Model S warranty extended to 8 years for Drivetrain The Tesla Model S – perhaps the only truly useable electric car – has taken the motoring industry by storm, and now it’s getting better still for owners as Tesla announce an extended warranty on the drivetrain of the Model S to 8 years, matching that of the battery pack. The warranty also applies retrospectively, so all Model S Teslas already in the hands of owners are covered – and the warranty can be transferred to as many new owners as needed – for a full 8 years, which is unlimited for the 85 models and 125k miles for the 60 models. It’s a strong response from Tesla after a number of long-term tests (by Consumer Reports and Edmunds in particular) produced a number on niggling problems, and standing behind their product so solidly – just as Hyundai/Kia did – may not take the niggles away but it will give comfort to prospective buyers (if not shareholders, at least in the short term).
Fiat Abarth 695 Maserati Edition joins Mille Miglia
Fri, 18 May 2012Fiat is taking its Abarth 695 Maserati Edition, which we first saw in Geneva, to the famous Mille Miglia 1,000-mile race. The company is only producing 499 examples of the special edition. It will be displayed at Piazza della Loggia in Brescia, Italy, in conjunction with the race.
