This lower unit is off a 1993 Cobalt with 5.0L MerCruiser. Last fall the front "bullet" of the lower nit was damaged and we had it welded with the internal components rebuilt and winterized. This spring we went to use the boat and found gear lube had leaked through the weld. Therefore we bought a new lower unit and are selling this one as parts. It has not been run in the water since being rebuilt.
