The Monaro V8 coupe is being supercharged, by Kent dealer Greens of Rainham. It gets a unique exterior color called canyon, while the interior gets its own styling as well. The Red Rock Special Edition was introduced at the 2011 New York auto show, and then toured the United States to gauge customer demand.

Ostensibly an S400 Hybrid, the car showcases the very latest Mercedes safety technology, some of which will be in mainstream models soon, and some of which is, frankly, pure fantasy mollycoddling. The concept will be officially unveiled next week, but CAR has already been to the company’s Stuttgart base for a sneak preview.
