But at the Sepang Track in Malaysia this morning, Lewis Hamilton had no such problems and was ahead of the pack from lights to flag to take a convincing win for Mercedes, 17.3 seconds ahead of his team mate Nico Rosberg in second place with reigning champion Sebastian Vettel trailing in third. An impressive Mercedes one-two in Kuala Lumpur.

Aston Martin eyes Lagonda comeback

The last time we saw an Aston Martin Lagonda on the street, it looked like its sharp angles could deflect not only police radar and laser, but give pedestrians a paper cut if they weren't careful. And the last time we saw a Lagonda concept -- at the 2009 Geneva motor show -- it looked like, well, like what you see above. The Italian supercar maker claims to have drawn on inspiration from the fashion world in order to create the latest interior and exterior colours. The Gallardo Spyder (centre) is painted in Marrone Apus, a colour Lambo describes as ‘halfway between brown and black’, but there is a golden reflection due to a special pigment in the paint.
