IIHS names safest cars for 2013
Wed, 02 Jan 2013The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety has named the safest cars for 2013, including 13 midsize sedans that qualify for a new “top safety pick+” designation. The designation is given to vehicles that earn “good” ratings for occupant protection in at least four of five tests, with no less than “acceptable” in the fifth test. A new test -- the small overlap test -- was added to assess how the vehicles perform during a front-corner collision with another vehicle or object, such as a utility pole.
Audi Stop-Start Introduced

From posting record car sales for 2008, despite the gloom and doom that has permeated the whole car industry, to launching more new models than you can count, the push is onward and upward. And the world has fallen in love with its cars, from modest little hatchbacks to Supercars.

Which goes to show that the Qazana is well on track for amid 2010 launch and production at Nissan’s Sunderland plant. The Qazana – when it debuted at Geneva this year – was a daring concept, to say the least.
