Lamborghini Urus SUV 'to cost £135,000'
Thu, 12 Jul 2012Although it has yet to be given the green light, the new Urus crossover would become the cheapest Lamborghini in the range, CAR has learned. The Lambo 4x4 was first shown in Bejing at the 2012 Chinese motor show - signalling Sant'Agata's intent to take on Range Rover et al with a sporting luxury SUV. How much the Lamborghini Urus SUV will cost The target price for the new Lambo SUV is in the area of €170,000 or £135,000 at today's exchange rates.

Toyota: Runaway Prius accounts ‘inconsistent' with testing
Mon, 15 Mar 2010Toyota is challenging the accounts of a motorist whose Prius sped out of control last week in San Diego, calling his reports of the incident “inconsistent” with the initial findings of the company. Toyota released the results after two days of testing on a 2008 Prius hybrid that sped out of control last week in California, and it maintained that the car's brakes and throttle functioned properly. The now-infamous incident occurred on March 8, when a Prius driven by James Sikes was reported in a 911 call to be speeding uncontrollably.
