A change of law in 2012 meant that cars registered before 1960 no longer have to pass the yearly test for roadworthiness known as the MOT. The CR-V is among the best-selling SUVs in America and will get more than 30 mpg on the highway from a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine with 185 hp and 163 lb-ft of torque.
