This a freshwater standard long(20") detented shaft lower unit from a '77 Merc 850 with the correct 2.3:1 ratio. Fluid came out with no metal and was milky but pressure tested at 10psi for a period of 1 hour after new shift shaft seal. Comes with new impeller,whale tail and trim tab. Whale tail will be dismounted for shipping. Shift feels positive both forward and reverse. There is a small chip in the housing at the prop visible seen in about the fourth picture.  Fits many models but do your own research. Sold as is/as described with no warranty or return. For the masochistic car enthusiast--and many of us here at AutoWeek count ourselves among that breed--nothing is sure to tantalize and frustrate quite as nicely as a Lotus. Not just any Lotus, mind you, but a peaky, force-fed, emissions-saddled 1986 Turbo Esprit. The example shown here, http://detroit.craigslist.org/okl/ctd/2318628863.html, appears to be a fine specimen of Giguaro's wedgy Brit, and the rear-quarter decals indicate that this is a late HCi model--high-compression plus Bosch fuel injection.

Kia Naimo concept at the Seoul auto show explores an electric-powered city car

Kia continues to explore its electric-car capabilities with the Naimo small-car concept, unveiled on Thursday at the Seoul motor show. The boxy, four-seat Naimo fits into the B-size class, which includes cars such as the Honda Fit, the Toyota Yaris, the Ford Fiesta and the Chevrolet Sonic. The Naimo is 153.2 inches long and has a wheelbase of 104.2 inches.
