Shell says petrol cars to die out by 2070
Mon, 20 Jan 2014The end of the petrol-engined car is nigh, or so says Shell, in its latest New Lens Scenarios report. But don’t worry, there’s no need to panic just yet. The oil giant is predicting the end won’t come until 2070.

Selling over 100,000 models in its first year, the Mrs Beckham-influenced crossover has won fans for its high levels of individualisation – but you haven't been able to spec a yellow version, until now. The appropriately titled ‘Sicilian Yellow Limited Edition Evoque’ is set to be unveiled at the January 2013 Brussels motor show.

Mind you, even though we got a huge press release which ran to more pages than we cared to count, and a pile of new photos including interiors for the first time, there’s still a chunk of detail missing. We don’t for example have performance figures, much beyond a 7.1 second 0-60 mph for the 238bhp EcoBoost Evoque.
