Ran once on open freshwater.
Brand:Mercury Stroke:4-Stroke Engine(HP):V-6 Outboard Country/Region of Manufacture:United States

The history of the engine: Thought I got a great deal on a 1995 Hurricane Deck Boat (see pic's). Had to dig the boat out of a 90 year old guys backyard. He bought the boat 20 years earlier brand new, had some health issues and NEVER took it out. The boat was heavily covered and everything under was very nice. He said it had been started in the last few years but the gas looked nasty. I used a small tank of fresh gas and it started but ran poorly. I assumed the carbs were gummed up and sprayed it: no change. Took it to my mechanic and found out I should have sprayed the cylinders with penetrating oil, because I blew the 3rd cylinder up. Those rings were frozen and just disintegrated in the cylinder. So I had to get another engine for the Hurricane and now have every part but the power-head for sale. I am trying to recoop the money I had to spend for another engine. Every part is pristine, with absolutely no wear. I am slowly getting the items on, so if you need a part with no wear let me know!

Came off a 1995 Mercury 2.0 135. From what I understand it can be used with a 135 and 150 engine. Comes with anode. Shaft is 21 1/2" from pump housing.

MG CS SUV Concept heading for Shanghai Motor Show

Thu, 11 Apr 2013

MG are still struggling to make much of an impact on the car landscape, but one car that could change that is a funky urban crossover / SUV to give cars like the Nissan Juke a run for their money. That looked to be on the cards last year when MG turned up at the Beijing Motor Show with the MG Icon, an SUV.Crossover Concept that took the ‘Ugly but Cute’ style cues from the Juke but grafted on a nose that looked like it could have come from MG’s sports car past. The Icon was a decent effort – and even won an award for ‘Best Concept’ at Beijing from Autoweek – but it looks like MG has decided the design of the Icon was just a bit too radical, so they’ve toned it down with a new concept heading for this year’s Shanghai Motor Show – the MG CS Concept.

'Gran Turismo' pays tribute to Senna with 'Ayrton's Wish'

Fri, 02 May 2014

Back in October, "Gran Turismo" announced a partnership with the Ayrton Senna Institute. We're finally starting to see the fruits of that labor -- a Senna-edition Playstation 3 bundle in Brazil notwithstanding. The first element of a month-long tribute from publisher Polyphony Digital is the above 20-minute film, "Ayrton's Wish." Two months before Imola, Ayrton told his sister Viviane that he wanted to give back to the country that so idolized him.
