ORIGINAL MERCURY KIEKHAEFER 40H CYLINDER BLOCK WITH STACKS AND FILLER BLOCKS..MOTOR TURNS OVER AND HAS COMPRESSION, SKIRTS ON PISTONS LOOK GOOD, MOTOR WAS SET UP WITH CARTER MODEL N CARBS AND TWIN FUEL PUMPS, STACKS AND FILLER BLOCKS.  I PULLED THE POWERHEAD OFF AND KEPT THE TOWER AND FOOT..BLOCK HAS TWO WELDS, I FEEL THEY WERE DONE FOR REINFORCEMENT? RODS USUALLY WONT COME OUT IN THAT AREA.   COULD RESTORE AS ORIGINAL 40H POWERHEAD SINCE THEY WERE PRODUCED IN LOW NUMBERS OR FRESHEN IT UP AND RUN AS SEEN

Online retail giant Amazon is now promoting vehicle sales on its website, advertising the new Nissan Versa Note supermini for $13,990 (around £8,630) on the US arm of its Internet-based department store. However, the firm isn’t directly selling the cars – it is instead ‘promoting’ the vehicles. The Nissans do get a full listing, though, as opposed to the simple hosted advert often seen elsewhere online.

Flying car gets regulatory clearance

The Jetsons' futuristic vision of a flying car is one step closer to becoming a reality. Terrafugia, a Massachusetts company developing a "roadable aircraft" named the Transition, just received special exemptions from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration that will help it move the vehicle move forward to production. NHTSA will allow the Transition to be outfitted with plastic windows rather than standard automotive safety glass.
