Offered for your consideration is an original handbrake handle correct for MG Midgest & Austin Healey Sprites (Not Bugeye, if you require a Bugeye handle I will be making a separate listing) which has been rechromed to true concours standards in deep triple chrome plate.  The plating is vastly superior to the original factory chrome and the entire handle is polished unlike the originals which only featured a polished grip.  First class quality throughout.

U.S. set to raise fuel-economy standard

Government regulators will get their prize of higher fuel-economy standards, and automakers will get the certainty of a national emissions standard, under new rules to be proposed Tuesday by President Barack Obama. The fleet average fuel economy for automakers will rise to 35.5 mpg in 2016 under the president's proposal--10 mpg more than today's mandate. At the same time, the president's proposed rule will cut carbon emissions, thought to be a key factor in global warming.

EUROPEAN driving laws are leaving Brits in a bit of a pickle, with many people completely unable to separate wacky truths from absurd fiction. To celebrate its new road trip competition, chocolate experts Cadbury dug up a selection of crazy driving laws across the continent and mixed them in with some entirely invented ones to create a quiz that caught many folks by surprise. For a start, 75% of people refused to believe that a dirty car is punishable by law in Belarus.

VETERAN broadcaster and motorsports commentator Murray Walker was for once left speechless after he was reunited with one of his father’s old Rudge racing motorbikes. During a Royal Automobile Club dinner, where he was a guest of honour, the 90-year-old ‘voice of Formula 1’ was overwhelmed by a surprise unveiling of a group of classic racers that had been assembled by the Club on his behalf. Ever-fewer people remember that Graham Walker, Murray’s father, was a hugely successful motorbike racer with brands including Rudge.
