Jaguar XKR-S: Geneva reveal +video
Tue, 01 Mar 2011Jaguar XKR-S revealed in Geneva The Jaguar XKR-S is Jaguar’s fastest series production car, and is as sure a sign as you can get of the potential Jaguar has. And, perhaps more importantly, the confidence Jaguar has in its ability to deliver on its promise, and to push the boundaries. Jaguar purists will complain that the XKR-S is too shouty, too loud, not quite Jaguar.
Aston Martin V12 Vantage ends & big changes afoot at Aston Martin
Sat, 04 May 2013Launched as a limited edition V12 Vantage in 2009, by 2010 Aston decided there was enough demand to make the V12 Vantage a proper part of Aston’s standard offerings, and since then it’s been the same. The V12 Vantage has also spawned a Roadster version (which, we think, stays in production – at least for now) and the slightly bonkers V12 Zagato, which conspired to look a bit too extreme for an Aston and cost an arm and a leg. We know that AM sold around 1200 V12 Vantage Coupes, around 100 V12 Vantage Roadsters and a handful of V12 Zagatos, but now the run is at an end and we do wonder if there will be a replacement?
Suzuki Celerio revealed in India – Euro-spec Celerio heading for Geneva
Fri, 07 Feb 2014The new Suzuki Celerio (pictured_ revealed in India The Suzuki Celerio has been launched at the Auto expo in New Delhi this week as a new A-Segment offering from Suzuki, but the Celerio isn’t just for emerging markets and will arrive in Eur-spec at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show next month. The Celerio offers more space than bothy the Alto and Splash – Suzuki’s current offerings in the A-Segment – and is expected to cost much the same as the Alto when it arrives in the UK in early 2015. Which means the new Celerio is probably the replacement for both the Splash and Alto, and Suzuki are trumpeting it a ‘pocket-friendly’ car.
