Multi-stage charging regulates the proper amount of charge at the proper time and automatic shut-off extends the life of the battery by shutting down when charging is complete. This series of on-board chargers charge batteries up to twice as fast thanks to new more precise monitoring. Waterproof shock and vibration resistant aluminum construction. Saltwater tested and corrosion-resistant. Short circuit reverse polarity arc and ignition protected. For use with 12V/6 cell batteries that are flooded/wet cell maintenance free or starved electrolyte (AGM) only. FCC compliant and UL listed to marine standard 1236.

By Nick Eaton Motor Industry 11 September 2008 16:05 Ford UK has confirmed its dealers have received more than 1000 orders for the new Focus RS, despite the rampant hot hatch having only been unveiled at the British motor show two months ago. By way of comparison, Ford UK only sold 2200 previous-generation Focus RS models in two whole years. According to Ford, 40 percent of customers have requested the Electric Green paint (pictured in CAR's exclusive photoshoot above), while Frozen White and Electric Blue have also been popular choices. There’s been no word on ASBO Orange just yet… As well as the choice of colour, punters can spec a Lux pack, a premium sat-nav system and leather, though we’d recommend sticking with the standard trim on the excellent Recaros.

Driver escapes unhurt in rail crash

A 67-YEAR-OLD woman motorist has escaped injury after her car went through a level crossing barrier and collided with a train. The incident happened at 6.05am today at Datchet crossing in Berkshire. Neither the driver nor the guard on the train, which was not in service, were hurt.
