Battery Selection by Bank
On each bank, you can select what battery type you have connected (AGM, gel or flooded lead acid) to guarantee a safe, protected charge.

Battery Equalization
Every time you plug in a Precision charger, it equalizes, meaning it cleans and conditions your battery to extend run time and battery life. You can also activate a more rigorous, complete equalization at the push of a button. Note: Only in flooded lead-acid battery setting.

Low-Line Voltage Compensation
When outlets get overloaded or hooked up to long extension cords, they don't put out the 120 volts they_re supposed to. That makes charge times go up unless you've got a Precision charger, which compensates to deliver a fast, consistent charge no matter what.

Comprehensive LED Display
Know right where you're at with the LED display on your Precision charger. It displays the selected battery type for each bank, connection status, state of charge and error codes.

Automatic Multi-Stage Charging
Every Minn Kota charger controls the voltage and current your battery gets throughout the three stages of the charging cycle for a safe, precise charge.

Automatic Temp. Compensation
Charging your batteries at higher or lower temperatures can damage your battery. Our on-board chargers sense outside temperature fluctuations and adjust the charge accordingly, providing a fast, accurate charge.

True-Rated Output
Every Minn Kota on-board charger delivers a full, true-rated output for a faster charge.

Digital Control
The microprocessor-based design enables our chargers to continually monitor the temperature and state of charge. It means faster, more regulated, precise charge for your battery - and a longer day of worry-free fishing.

AC Plug Holder
Included with all of our on-board chargers, this convenient holder keeps the charger plug dry, safe and easily accessible.

Waterproof Construction
All of the on-board chargers are built tough, with waterproof, shock-resistant and vibration-resistant rugged construction. Plus, they're saltwater-tested to fully combat corrosion.

The first Volkswagen Beetle in America looked like this

Thu, 30 Jan 2014

On Jan. 17, 1949, the Holland America Line Westerdam pulled into New York Harbor from Rotterdam carrying the seed of an automotive empire. It had been only four years since Volkswagen resurrected operations in Wolfsburg, the factory heavily ruined by Allied forces and now under the command of Major Ivan Hirst.

Autodesk Automotive Days - Munich 2009

Thu, 10 Dec 2009

Autodesk's Automotive Days design conferences, launched in Munich in 2008, have highlighted the key growth area of digital prototyping. And at last month's conference the focus was once again broadened to include coverage of conceptual design and creative visualization (at the very beginning of the design process) and design for manufacture - at the culmination of the process. Speakers from Autodesk outlined the innovative features of their latest product suites, while keynote presentations from leading automotive designers such as Frank Stephenson of McLaren and Volvo's Rickard Franklin showed in fascinating detail how the benefits of these software systems were being maximized in busy corporate design studios.

Virtually sit in the new Corvette Stingray

Wed, 08 May 2013

We're not sure how this awesome 360-degree look at the new Corvette interior flew under our radar for so long, but we're loving the full driver's view of the 2014 Stingray taken at the Chicago Auto Show. The massive improvements in the Corvette's interior are on full display, with the red leather and carbon-fiber accents adding just the right amount of Bad MoFo to what's an otherwise luxurious cockpit. Stay tuned: We're expecting to get our hands on the new Corvette this summer, and we'll bring you a full drive report as soon as we wipe the grins off our faces.
