Caterham will launch its most hardcore road-going Seven ever at the 2013 Goodwood motor show. Called the 620R, the new range-topper develops 310bhp, and will hit 60mph in 2.79sec, making as fast as an a 691bhp Lamborghini Aventador. The 620R replaces the R500 in Caterham's range, and costs £49,995.

Production of Camaro convertible to start in 2011

Despite General Motors' current economic woes, production of a convertible version of the Chevrolet Camaro is on track to start in early 2011. That is later than the original plan of having the ragtop Camaro go into production early next year, a GM spokesman told Automotive News. But the program was not canceled, just delayed, the spokesman said.

Both the Aygo Ice and Aygo Fire come with the freshly tweaked 1.0 litre VVT-I petrol engine, which now delivers sub-100g/km emissions and economy improved to 65.7mpg, as well as the tweaks to the nose, new LEDs, restyled bumpers, tinted glass and the smallest of interior tweaks.
