Lamborghini MLC is the Lambo SUV
Wed, 22 Feb 2012What we think will be the Lamborghini MLC The new Lamborghini SUV will be called the Lamborghini MLC and will debut at the Beijing Motor Show in April. At the start of the month we revealed that the rumour of a Lamborghini SUV were not rumours but fact, after an Audi manager confirmed that Lamborghini would be entering the super-luxury SUV with their first offering in the sector since the LM002. Fiat 500L launches
Wed, 04 Jul 2012The Fiat 500L – a larger Fiat 500 based on the Punto – has launched in Italy ahead of going on sale in the UK in early 2013. We had the official arrival of the Fiat 500L at the Geneva Motor Show in March, and now we get the 500L’s official launch in Turin – together with lots of new photos and a video – before the 500L goes on sale around the world. The 500L is actually based on the underpinnings of the Punto to create a 500 MPV and, sensibly, Fiat has done with the 500L what MINI did with the Countryman and slapped an iconic badge on even though the 500L bears scant resemblance to its cute little sibling.
New CAFE proposal would add $5,000 to sticker price, dealer group says
Wed, 18 Jan 2012An Obama administration proposal to nearly double today's fuel economy standards could end up tacking on $5,000 to the sticker price of a new vehicle, a top official with the National Automobile Dealers Association said Tuesday. The proposal, which seeks to raise the corporate average fuel economy to 54.5 mpg by the 2025 model year, would force automakers to adopt costly fuel-saving technologies that could eventually price some buyers out of the new-car market, said Don Chalmers, chairman of NADA's government relations committee. NADA, a dealer trade association, represents 16,000 new-vehicle dealers who operate 32,500 franchises.
