Suzuki says mid-sized sedan will come to U.S. as planned
Tue, 06 Jan 2009Suzuki, refuting media reports from Japan on Monday, said it still plans to release a mid-sized sedan based on the Kizashi 3 concept in the United States this year. The Nikkei business daily reported that production plans for the car had been shelved. "The production version will debut at this year's New York auto show in April," said Jeff Holland, spokesman for American Suzuki Motor Corp.

This is its first major facelift since it was launched in 2004. The lamps, grille and glasshouse are slightly more expressive than on the current car, but Subaru isn't breaking any new ground for car design. Good job, because last time that happened, the Tribeca MPV was inflicted on the world.
