Monroe Max-air Air Shock Absorber Mopar on 2040-parts.com
Easthampton, Massachusetts, US
What we have here is a set of Monroe "Air-Max" air shocks that I have had installed on my 1971 Dodge Dart for the last 18 months. These babies work great and have maybe 8-10,000 miles on them. They helped give my Dart a little "lift" until I could afford the new 8-3/4 rear end and Extra Heavy Duty leaf springs. Which I now have installed (yee haw!), rendering these air shocks obsolete for me, but available to someone else that is where I was in their resto-fication. These are not the ultimate solution, but they will get you through until you can do it right. I could not have been happier with them. Comes complete with the air lines, fittings, fill valve, extra o-rings, etc. You can get more air line and o-rings at a good hardware store, but I don't think you will need anything to get these installed and working for you! I don't have the owners manual, but there's really nothing to these; can probably download from Monroe's web site. It'll take you about an hour to install these and, Man, what a difference they make if your car has tired old light-duty springs!! These babies retail for about $80-85 at your corner parts store.
