Renault Zoë ZE electric car 'to cost £13,000' in UK

We had been looking to a price comparable to modern turbodiesels, but a senior executive has told us that the new 2012 Zoë ZE city car will be priced from just €15,000. 'The Zoe will cost around €15,000, or £13,000 in sterling,' said global vice president of sales and marketing, Stephen Norman.

Spyker makes a new offer for Saab; General Motors will evaluate

Spyker Cars said Sunday it had submitted a new offer for the Saab brand. Spyker CEO Victor Muller said an 11-point proposal had been handed to General Motors addressing each of the issues that arose during due diligence after the Dutch company originally bid for Saab. Muller said the new offer would remove the obstacles that were standing in the way of a swift sale of Saab to Spyker.

Mazda to build new Toyota car for U.S. market

Mazda Motor Corp. will build a Toyota subcompact car at its new plant in Mexico for sale in the United States. The new Toyota will be a rebadged version of the Mazda2 and go on sale in 2015.
