Mini Crossover Concept: the first photos
Tue, 09 Sep 2008By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 09 September 2008 23:00 Here's the first look at the new Mini Crossover Concept – proof, at last, that BMW will indeed build a 4x4, SUV-lite version of the Mini. The Crossover concept car will be shown at the 2008 Paris motor show (where else?) and previews the production Mini SUV due in 2010. Mini Crossover Concept: the first official pictures Pore over these first official photographs carefully, because the new Mini Crossover Concept shows closely how the trendy brand's new SUV is shaping up and also reveals how the future face of the Mini brand is evolving.
Mercedes E350 CDI Estate Review & Road Test (2010)
Tue, 23 Nov 2010Mercedes E350 CDI Avantgarde Estate Review & Road Test To be absolutely precise, what we have for a week of playing – to review and road test – is the Mercedes-Benz E350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY Avantgarde Estate. Which thankfully isn’t plastered out in chrome lettering across the back of Mercedes’ newest E Class Estate. Just a simple E350 on one side of the tailgate and CDI on the other.
Lamborghini Egoista concept
Mon, 13 May 2013To celebrate the 50th birthday of Sant'Agata's most famous export, Volkswagen Group Design Director Walter de Silva led a team in the creation of the wild Lamborghini Egoista concept. "I am very attached to this Italian brand, being an Italian myself," said de Silva at its unveiling. "I wanted to pay homage to and think up a vehicle to underline the fact that Lamborghinis have always been made with passion, and with the heart more than the head." This single-seat, V10-powered sportscar – with Alessandro Dambrisio responsible for its exterior design and Stefan Sielaff its interior – is an extreme interpretation of the faceted aesthetic introduced by the 2007 Reventón and last seen on the Veneno shown earlier this year at the Geneva motor show.
