Matched set of big block exhaust manifolds (#2203262 and #2205898) that were used from 1962-65 in Dodge and Plymouth B-bodies. The surface has been bead blasted and covered with aluminum for corrosion resistance, in a metal spray process. They were then lightly buffed. The aluminum is NOT applied from a spray can. Aluminum metal is actually vaporized and then blown onto the surface (see wisegeek.com "What is metal spraying?" for further explanation of this process). The boss at the rear pass. side is missing a small piece at the top but this does not affect the functioning of the manifold and the heat riser plate has been removed. All mounting surfaces are great. These manifolds will fit the following Chrysler engines only: 361, 383, 413, 426W and 440.

Some hybrids are not a green as they seem, interest group says

Mon, 18 Jul 2011

Car buyers who think they are helping the planet by choosing a hybrid vehicle to aid in cutting emissions don't always get the biggest bang for their buck, according to an environmental interest group. A report from the Union of Concerned Scientists shows that some hybrids come at a much higher price tag than their similarly equipped, conventional-powertrain counterparts, yet offer little in the way of environmental gain. These not-so-green hybrids compromise their value or eco-friendliness in a variety of ways.

Gordon Murray and Yamaha reveal new Motiv city car (2016)

Thu, 21 Nov 2013

By Ollie Kew First Official Pictures 21 November 2013 11:00 This futuristic Smart ForTwo lookalike is in fact the Gordon Murray Design Motiv – and no, the latter part of that name isn’t a typo. Built in conjunction with Yamaha, the Motiv uses elements of F1, motorcycle and extra-automotive technology to try and cut down on the environmental impact building – and running – a car creates. Mainly, it’s the two-seater’s production process, coined ‘iStream’ by the 240mph McLaren F1’s designer Gordon Murray.
