Mopar: Belt Alignment / Throwing Problem Solver! Shim Set for Crankshaft and Water Pump (Fan) Pullies
Here's what you need to permanently solve belt alignment problems on your Mopar, be it a small block (273, 318, 340, or 360) or Big Block or Hemi (383, 400, 413, 426, or 440) in any '60's / 70's Plymouth Dodge, or Chrysler. Fixing belt alignment keeps the belts on at high RPM, and drastically increases belt life while reducing noise. It's win-win with this Problem Solver!

Here's what you get:

> One (1) 0.140" thick crank pulley shim (spacer) cleverly slotted to allow usage with both early (asymmetrical) and late (symmetrical) bolt patterns.

> Two (2) 0.060" thick fan pulley spacers.

All are CNC produced from quality steel to aerospace tolerances, and plated to prevent rust for decades. Good stuff!

By using some or all of these, and spacing the alternator and / or PS brackets (using flatwashers) in various combinations, as required, most mismatched and/or misaligned pulley setups can be corrected to 9,000 RPM perfection. (Obviously, if your setup is 1/2" out of alignment, you've got some seriously screwed-up combo and this can't help!)

More details and images of the 2013 Skoda Octavia have been revealed ahead of its official announcement. The C-segment Octavia will be the fourth model to sit on the MQB platform after the Volkswagen Golf Mk7, Seat Leon and Audi A3. These images suggest the car will offer few surprises – from its familiar corporate grille to the new, sharp-edged, cut-glass inspired surfacing first seen on the Rapid this third-generation Octavia looks set to build on its solid and loyal customer base.

Our own Mark Vaughn recently took a tour of the sprawling California plant where Tesla is gearing up to build as many as 20,000 electric cars per year. Formerly part of the General Motors/Toyota New United Motor Manufacturing Inc. joint venture, the vast space allows huge swaths of factory floor--all newly painted--between each of the machines.
