 I am selling a Morse Controls boat steering cable mounting kit, part number A301670. This kit includes the hardware for assembly, the cable sleeve that measures roughly 12" L x 13/16" OD, and the (2) tilt lock plates that both measure roughly 4 13/16" OD x 1/16" thick and has a cutout in the middle 1 3/8" ID. With manual transmissions being phased out of everything from Fords to Ferraris, it's no surprise that beginning on Thursday, the Richard Petty Driving Experience will no longer require the use of a clutch pedal to learn how to drive a stock car. With the company's "Can't Drive a Manual? No Problem" campaign, the driving school will allow students to get behind the wheel of a stocker and be push-started so no shifting will be required.

Tyre-related deaths show slight fall

FIGURES released today have revealed a slight fall in the number of deaths and serious injuries caused by dangerous tyres. The 2012 figure of 194 ‘killed of seriously injured’ (KSI) incidents represents a 5% fall from 2011, and includes a drop in fatalities of three, from 28 to 25. Serious injuries fell from 177 to 169.
