  • This listing is for one of my genuine leather tool bags for Motorcycles in  Red Brown distressed leather.
  • I have more and more clients asking me for leather with a distressed finish. I have been looking for such a finish for a long time and this is the best one I have ever came across. This leather was not artificially distressed to have character, it is the very outer layer (strongest ) of the hide, showing all the scars, tick bites, cuts etc. Usually these marks will be removed in the tannery by buffing, polishing, removing the outer layer of skin or uniform imprints. As you can see from the photos all these marks are still clearly visible. EVERY BAG WILL HAVE MARKS THAT DIFFER FROM THE ONE IN THE PHOTO. SO IF YOU BUY THIS BAG, EXPECT MARKS ON THE LEATHER.
  • 100% Australian made. I make them myself, I talk to you if you contact me and I put them in the mail to you.
  • These bags fasten onto the front forks, and accommodate forks about 200mm wide centre to centre, with fastening straps of 300mm long.
  • These brand new leather tool bags are now standard with stainless steel buckles, at no extra cost to you.
  • The leather, being a natural product, may have a slightly different appearance from batch to batch.
  • These bags are individually handcrafted by myself, using quality Australian or NZ leather whenever possible. I have been a leather crafter for more than 30 years, and take pride in my craftmanship . Each of these bags is the result of at least three hours of work, so consider that when you look at my asking price. The stitching are not by machine, I do them by hand using the old saddle stitch method. This method is far superior to any machine stitch. To get an idea of the quality of my work, enlarge the photos as  much as you can. These bags are in approx. 2.8mm 100% natural leather and features beautiful stainless steel buckles. This tool bag, is approximately 250mm long and about 80mm wide and 120mm high. Please note all USA clients, postage is a fixed 24.00AU, registered.
  • Please note that all import or duty charges required by your country is to be paid by the buyer.
  •  I gladly accept paypal, but direct bank transfer will be appreciated.

If you are not happy with these items at all, you will be fully re-imbursed on return of the item, however you pay postage both ways. Thanks for looking.

Volvo's autonomous car is boring enough to work

Fri, 16 May 2014

Volvo is a bit of an enigma. The Chinese-owned Swedish automaker releases a stunning concept from time to time, and we're often pleasantly surprised by the Volvos that enter out test fleet, but it hasn't done much to generate sales numbers -- or buzz -- in the North American market. Maybe that's because Volvo is too busy looking down the road to focus on selling cars now.

BMW Vision ConnectedDrive (2011) first pictures

Thu, 10 Feb 2011

This gorgeous two-seat roadster is the BMW Vision ConnectedDrive, set to be unveiled at the 2011 Geneva motor show. Unlike some of BMW’s other Vision-tagged concept cars, this unfortunately isn’t a thinly disguised production car, but a study designed to highlight the company’s driver assistance systems.  However, although BMW has released no details on the engine or layout under the sexy skin, thankfully the Vision ConnectedDrive’s stunning styling (including the shark nose, wrap-around rear lights and layered body) will find its way onto future production BMWs.  For a start sensors in the headlamps and rear lights monitor the traffic situation and the environment around the car, while instead of wing mirrors there are antennas that receive navigation data and transmit other information. Inside the driver has a 3D head-up display, and the system can project information about the chosen sat-nav route so it appears at the exact point of a possible turn-off. The 3D system also displays information in the foreground or background of the display depending on its relevance.
