EXCLUSIVE Italian coachbuilder Touring has unveiled its Alfa Romeo Disco Volante, which is a modern interpretation of one of the company’s most famous designs. The new Disco Volante marks the 60th anniversary of the original, but the new car comes with a 4.7-litre V8 engine with 450bhp borrowed from the Alfa Romeo 8C supercar. This means the new Disco Volante can see off 0-62mph in 4.2 seconds and has a top speed of 181mph.

Audi has revealed that the new RS4 Avant complete with 444bhp from its 4.2 litre V8 – will cost £54,925 in the UK. The new Audi RS4 Avant got its reveal at this year’s Geneva Motor Show and is the only RS4 body style you’re going to get. Unless you count the RS4 in coupe guise that Audi call the RS5.

£110BN price tag put on Deadly accidents by Road Safety Body

A NEW report commissioned by a parliamentary safety group claims that deaths and serious injuries on the roads are likely to cost society £110 billion in the years to 2030. According to the Parliamentary Advisory Committee for Transport Safety (Pacts), the total of those killed or seriously injured (KSIs) over this period is expected to be around a third of a million. These figures are expected despite the report predicting a dip in KSIs and slight injuries by 2030 compared with figures for 2012.
