Motorquality Racing Kart Brake Pads

SAVE BIG MONEY COMPARED TO YOUR O.E.M. PADS!

MOTORQUALITY is a relative of world famous Brembo and a spin off company!

Motorquality pads are different; they give immediate, full and continuous ‘feel’ through the brake pedal similar to a ‘soft’ pad but have increased durability over a standard pad and require less ‘bedding-in’ than conventional pads.

Motorquality - Technology in Kart Sport
MQ brake pads are technically advanced over other kart brake pads. Through the use of Carbon Fibre, Kevlar and other Aramidic and Inorganic Fibres the pads have a remarkable stability of friction coefficient over a wide range of temperatures from 100° to 550°, which provides for good braking performance both at low and high temperature.

Pads also undergo special Thermatic Treatment and a special surface treatment during manufacture in order to minimise and simplify the mechanical and thermic “bedding-in” that is required when new pads are installed.

MQ also offers the widest catalogue of pads from one source to meet the wide variety of applications and caliper design found in Karting.

Mugen Honda CR-Z Hybrid – but don’t get too excited

Sat, 27 Feb 2010

The Honda CR-Z Hybrid gets the Mugen treatment Honda are trying to tell anyone who will listen that the Hybrid Honda CR-Z is a modern version of the Honda CRX. You know, all fun and sporty and nimble and on the right side of warm, but with all the green goodness people think they have to want. We haven’t actually come across anyone who buys in to the idea, but Honda aren’t giving up on the marketing pitch of the Honda CR-Z as the first ‘Sporty’ hybrid with the production version of the CR-Z debuting at Geneva next week.

Autoweek in review: Geneva previews, IndyCar troubles and Ram goes diesel

Fri, 15 Feb 2013

On Monday we talked about the 2014 Corvette Stingray and its place in Corvette history. We also checked out a used Porsche race car on Bring a Trailer and looked at which Formula One teams are not at risk of collapsing. We awoke on Tuesday to see video of a helicopter crashing during filming of “Top Gear Korea.” We looked at the interior of the McLaren P1 and saw some shots of the Alfa Romeo 4C before its reveal at the Geneva motor show.

Ecclestone faces £4 million bill

Fri, 28 Mar 2014

MOTORSPORT boss Bernie Ecclestone must pay lawyers' bills adding up to about £4 million despite winning a High Court fight with a German media company, a judge has ruled. In February, Mr Justice Newey had dismissed a claim for around £80 million in damages by Constantin Medien - which had said it lost out after Mr Ecclestone entered into a "corrupt agreement" with a banker to facilitate the sale of the Formula 1 Group to a buyer chosen by him. But, despite ruling against Constantin after a High Court trial in London, the judge had described 83-year-old Mr Ecclestone as not "reliable or truthful".
