La Mesa, California, United States
Condition:Used

Up for purchase is a MP RH Boat Propeller 18 x 25 3 Blade Bronze for 1 3/4 shaft.

I purchased this in a locker along with other nautical items. It was on consignment

locally here in San Diego (propellarsofsandiego.c0m) who assessed the prop and said

that is was in good useable condition, had not been milled (original size) but would have

to be balanced. There is a very small dent on one of the fins, they stated it is insignificant

and would be fixed as part of the balancing process. They wrote the information on the

prop after it sat at their shop for 4 months. As they take 50% as their consignment fee,

I figure although shipping is a hassle and expensive, I probably will fair better selling it

online as it should get more exposure. They said this prop new is about $900, they were

asking $400 and said they charge $150 to balance it which the buyer would pay. If you

are local to San Diego local pickup is free, request an invoice and I will change shipping to $0.

No overseas or international. Item weights approx. 35 lbs. I ship FedEx or USPS, boxed 24x24x18

for estimation. You will pay actual shipping per least expensive method +$5 handling unless otherwise

specified. I will ship this within 5 days, I will need to coordinate a shipping company for this

purpose. Please ask any/all questions before buying. There will be absolutely NO returns on this

item due to shipping costs. Priced accordingly. If one or both parties elects to cancel this transaction

due to excessive shipping cost or any other reasonable cause, no negative feedback will be left or received.

Once the item is shipped you will receive a shipping/tracking number, at that point the item is yours.

Again, due to shipping cost there are not returns.

Saab unable to pay wages as financing crisis deepens

Fri, 24 Jun 2011

Saab's money troubles have worsened to the point that the struggling car maker is unable to pay its employees' wages on the eve of the Swedish mid-summer vacation period. In a brief official statement last night, Saab's parent company Swedish Automobile N.V (formerly Spyker Cars) announced that it was 'will be unable to pay the wages to employees as it has not yet obtained the necessary short-term funding.'  While Swedish Automobile and Saab continue to pursue options for securing short-term financing to solve the cashflow crisis, the company admitted 'there can however be no assurance that these discussions will be successful or that the necessary funding will be obtained.' Saab share prices tumble, Swedish government will not intervene Reaction to the worsening financial crisis from stakeholders has been predictably bleak. Swedish Automobile's shares dropped 61% in value yesterday, and are currently trading at 0.948 euro. The Swedish government, already guaranteeing a €400m loan to Saab by the European Investment Bank, shows no inclination to bail-out Saab, which employs 3800 staff.

Porsche Panamera S E-Hybrid does 62mpg in the hands of motoring journalists

Tue, 28 May 2013

The Porsche Panamera S E-Hybrid – a Panamera with a plug-in hybrid powertrain – arrives last month, along with a 2013 facelift for the Panamera range , complete with claims from Porsche that it could do 91mpg. That was never going to happen in the real world, but Porsche has followed up its official economy figures with a degree of proof that the Panamera E-Hybrid can actually achieve very impressive economy numbers in the real world, and in the hands of motoring journalists – a group not renowned for their light touch on the throttle. At a press event in Hockenheim, Porsche let car journalists loose on the Panamera E-Hybrid for a total of 42 drives over a total distance of 750 miles and returned an average of 62mpg.

Skoda Fabia vRS to be dropped due to poor sales. Is that a good idea?

Fri, 13 Sep 2013

The Skoda Fabia vRS (pictured) is being axed The current version of the Skoda Fabia vRS has been with us since the Geneva Motor Show in 2010, and it’s a cracking little car. It’s the Skoda version of the VW Polo GTI and comes with the same 1.4 litre TSI supercharged with a healthy 178bhp, 7-speed DSG gearbox and performance and economy that satisfies – 0-62mph in 7.1 seconds and 44mpg. But it seems buyers aren’t queueing round the block to drive off in Skoda’s hot little Fabia so it’s going to be dropped.
