MRC Dellorto Fuel Pump Mount is designed specifically to mount onto the front of the fuel tank using the supplied hardware. While you can personally place this mount wherever you like, after hours of testing and R&D we suggest mounting it to the fuel tank bolt for the following reasons:
– Removing the pump from the harsh vibrations of the engine resulted in increased longevity and reliability of the pump and its internals – The short length of fuel line from the fuel tank to the fuel pump has increased its consistency regarding the amount of fuel it pumps. – Ascetically, placing the fuel pump in front of the tank cleans up the engine and makes it much easier to work on both the engine components and the fuel pump itself. – Now made from CNC Aluminum Titan Gold! Looks great and saves weight! Note: CRG Requires another mount that has different angle, we have them in stock. We stock the items we sell on eBay! But it doesn’t stop there. In an unguarded moment Audi’s Design Director Stefan Sielaff said that the ‘Design Grammar’ of the A8 would extend in to the S8, the S7 and the S1.

And Mazda – keepers of the Wankel flame – came up with the idea of a Wankel engine bolted in to an EV and powered by hydrogen last year, but it seems to0 have gone nowhere.
