For Ford enthusiasts that are serious about performance, these Billet Distributors have precision tolerances, high strength and incredible endurance. Just under the brass terminals of the cap and rotor is an easy-to-adjust mechanical advance assembly. The assembly is fine blanked from chrome moly steel, tig welded for strength plus receives a QPQ coating. The precision weights glide on nylon bushings for smooth advancement. The steel shaft that spins the advance and reluctor receives a friction reducing coating plus is guided by a sealed ball bearing. This combination provides stable timing signals and spark delivery at any rpm. Triggering chores are handled by MSD's race proven, maintenance-free magnetic pickup. For maximum protection against crossfire, the Billet Ford V8 Distributors are equipped with a large cap that has "spark plug" style terminals for secure wire attachment. On applications with limited space around the distributor, you can use MSD distributor cap PN 8433 and the PN 8467 rotor. NOTE: Must be used with an MSD 6, 7, 8 or 10 Series Ignition. UK car production down 20%
Thu, 20 Mar 2014CAR PRODUCTION slowed a little last month, according to official figures. A total of 133,730 cars were made in the UK in February - 2.7% fewer than in February 2013, the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) said. Cars made for the export market rose 3.5% last month, but manufacturing for the home market was down 20.8%.
