Item Description
  • Features a starter saver
  • Comes with a signal stabilizer
  • Choose 10 or 20 degrees of retard during cranking only
  • Led illuminates during each trigger
Features
When you install a crank trigger system, having locked out timing may put a strain on the starter and flywheel. This compact controller provides a retard that automatically retards the timing during cranking to ease the pressure. The MSD starter saver measures only 1.5 In. x 3.5 In. x 2 In. and wires into your ignition system with only four wires. It can be programmed to retard the timing 10 Degree or 20 Degree during cranking only. The retard is activated when the engine begins cranking and is deactivated once the engine reaches over 800 RPM (If the engine RPM drops below 500 RPM it will activate again). The starter saver receives the trigger signal through an MSD crank trigger pick-up or the distributor's magnetic pick-up.

Aston Martin Rapide: Is the Rapide not selling?

Thu, 16 Jun 2011

Aston Martin Rapide - doesn't seem to be selling It took AML an age to get the Aston Martin Rapide to market, but they eventually managed it and the first customer Rapide finally left Magna Steyr in May 2010. The general consensus was that the Rapide was something of a triumph for Aston Martin. They’d managed to squeeze an extra pair of doors in to a stretched DB9 and made the back seats of the Rapid just about commodious enough to be useable.

Concept Car of the Week: Toyota EX-III (1969)

Fri, 09 May 2014

The Toyota EX-III was presented at the 1969 Tokyo motor show, alongside the EX-I and EX-II concepts. It was by far the most advanced and portrayed a Japanese answer to the American and European dream machines. Just like its smaller sibling, the EX-1, the mid-engined EX-III was designed 'for the increased safety and comfort that tomorrow's high-speed travel will demand,' said the brochure.
