Volkswagen's New Compact Coupe (NCC) concept previews the next Jetta, but with two-doors rather than four. The car's front - minus the hybrid-style closed grille - pretty much represents the new face of the sixth-generation production Jetta due on sale this November, and its syling is informed by the latest Polo as well as some recent concepts from the German brand. Ford, Lawrence Tech offer design scholarships

The next Camilo Pardo might hail from Lawrence Technological University. In the Designing for the Future contest, Ford Motor Co. and Michigan's Lawrence Tech are challenging high school seniors to compete for more than $75,000 in scholarships to the school's transportation and industrial-design programs.

Land Rover Discovery Sport revealed – in miniature

The toy versions of the Land Rover Discovery Sport revealed Land Rover have been busy teasing the new Land Rover Discovery Sport – the replacement for the Freelander – ahead of its debut on 3rd September. We’ve already had the new Discovery Sport out testing, a good look at the Sport’s interior and, of course, the initial review of the Discovery Vision Concept that previewed the new Disco Sport. But now, ahead of a debut in a week or two, we get the Discovery Sport revealed early thanks to a photo of a couple of die cast models of the new Disco.
