MSD Ignition 8253 Blue Blaster HVC-2 Ignition Coils Coil, Blaster HVC II, 6 Series Ignitions MSD engineers drew upon their experience with Top Fuel cars and created these new HVC-2 coils for use with the MSD 6 Series Ignition Controls. These coils utilize an iron U-Core design with a segmented bobbin for improved voltage distribution. The bobbin is molded from Dupont Rynite FR946 and wound specifically to create an effective coil with incredible voltage capabilities, lightning quick rise time, and lengthy spark duration. The housing, also molded from Rynite material, features far-spaced brass primary terminals and a well-protected secondary tower for increased spark isolation. The housing is completely potted with an epoxy compound for vibration resistance and installs with sturdy vibration mounts. They're designed for use with MSD 6 Series ignitions. Motor industry backs EU membership
Thu, 03 Apr 2014MOTOR MANUFACTURERS have given strong backing for the UK staying in the European Union, citing benefits including business links and free movement of labour. A survey by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) showed that 92% of automotive firms believed that staying in the EU would be best for their business, although most wanted to see reforms. The SMMT said its study showed how EU membership benefited the industry, such as access to a single market and funding for research and development.

Tue, 23 Jul 2013The Bentley SUV has been officially confirmed for production. In announcement by the company today (Tuesday July 23), Bentley will build 3500 SUVs at its Crewe, UK, factory from 2016. First scooped by CAR in August 2011, the yet-to-be-named SUV, codenamed internally as ‘Falcon’, is expected to start from around £140,000.
