Our rebuild kits have the Autogear Forged Competition grade Synchro rings,. the same rings AUTOGEAR ,who makes the best quality Muncie parts today.... uses in there super cased M-22 , 20-25% stronger than cast rings [Like the original B marked rings cost 2.5X cast rings] Remember Synchronizer rings are the most important part when it comes to upshifting and down shifting and definitely a part you want the best available . Our countershaft is made to be on the high side of tolerances .9935 which is always helpful since Muncie cases are know to loose the press fit in front bore which leads to leakage . Before you buy ,know the quality of what your buying ,I've seen some real Garbage being sold by big name distributors ,Feed back doesn't always refleck quality . Not all Synchros and bearings are the same quality , I wouldn'd even consider using any bearings made in CHINA . Japan bearings are as good or in certain cases better than Usa made . Same goes for the synchro rings , The Autogear Forged Synchro Rings are the best quality available Today Period . I see Some E_bay vendors claiming that the rings in there rebuild kits are made in the USA ,False . Iv'e done quite well replacing cheap cast Tiawan synchros ,that were purchased from  "MUNCIE EXPERTS" or cheap box kits , that were grinding,or already flattened out ,some with less than 500 miles ,since replacement . That 40.00 or 50.00 you saved may not seem like alot when you have to do it over again .Do some research before you buy.

 This kit is built to be used in 1966-1970 M-20, M-21,  M-22, with 10 spline input & 27 spline Mainshaft ,casting #s ending in 010, 660.and 1970 661 , we can change this kit to fit 71-74 muncies with casting ending in 661 ,32 spline mainshaft ,specify at check-out and we will change the bushing and rear seal to the 71-74 31 spline no extra charge .
