Hertz announces Ford Mustang-based Hertz Penske GT rental car

There's nothing wrong with your basic cloth-interior rental cars, but there are times when you want to stumble off the plane and into something a bit more stimulating than a CVT-equipped Versa. Fortunately, rental car companies seem to be willing to answer the enthusiast call. Last week we told you about the Hertz Dream Car lineup and its $1,500-per-day Ferraris, but the company has also developed the muscle-car oriented Adrenaline Collection.

VW Tiguan Match returns – costs from £23,245

The VW Tiguan Match (pictured) returns for 2013 Back in 2010, Volkswagen had a play with the Tiguan model lineup and replaced the Tiguan SE with a better equipped Tiguan Match. And history is now repeating itself. VW has decided, once again, to drop the Tiguan SE from the model lineup and replace it with the Tiguan Match which, this time, actually costs slightly less than the SE and yet boasts more equipment.

McLaren introduces 50th anniversary MP4-12C

McLaren will produce a limited run of MP4-12Cs and MP4-12C Spiders for its 50th anniversary. The cars will get a few upgrades, but no changes will be made to the twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V8. It stays at 616 hp and 442 lb-ft of torque.
