Improved Silver Series™
w/Dual Brushes
Brand new, reproduction fuel tank sending unit as fitted to the 1953-61 Nash Metropolitan Series 1-4 manufactured by the Austin Motor Car Company of England. The original fuel tank sending unit was made by SMITHS Motor Accessories Limited of England. This Silver Series™ product has been reconfigured to incorporate dual brushes (internal contact arms) just as the OEM Smiths units had. The connection terminal is fixed in place with petrol resistant epoxy, and with our new and improved precisely wound resistor coil, you will get accurate and smooth readings at all fuel levels. In addition, for this top loading unit, we are supplying an improved Nitrile impregnated cork gasket made from Type-1, Class-1 SAE AMS-C-6183 military spec material. * ARMY STRONG *
Our unit is made from exclusive, proprietary tooling and is vastly superior to anything else on the market.
Replaces factory number 3H2672 and AMC number 811 0398. Note: This unit is intended for original OEM tanks and may not read properly on aftermarket tanks not made to the exact OEM specs.

NOS Locators' Commitment
NOS Locators has been serving the Classic Car community for over 35 years. We are respected and trusted throughout the world. We are located in a commercial building, fully staffed M-F, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Eastern Time. Some staff members may stay later or come in at other times, so if you need to call us, please try, but after 6:00 PM and on weekends, it is a "catch as catch can" situation. Our goal is to earn a 5-star rating in each category for each transaction, and everybody here works very hard toward deserving this. If you are satisfied with your products and this transaction, we would really appreciate all 5-star ratings if you can honestly justify this. This will allow us to continue to serve you and the rest of the eBay community in the future and keep our prices low. And if we should screw up, please give us the "benefit of the doubt" and a chance to fix it or make it up to you either directly or in some other way. There are penalties for not maintaining high ratings which eBay restricts us from publicly disclosing; however, it should be obvious that increased selling costs ultimately result in increased buyer's costs. As you can see from the comments from our more than 30,000 eBay transactions, we are an honest and honorable professional organization. If there is anything you object to regarding our policies, prices, products, S/H rates or time frames, please phone or email us. If you are not 100% agreeable with our policies and prices, please DO NOT BUY FROM US. But if you do buy from us, we expect you to likewise be honorable and judge us on how well we fulfill our stated policies. The two biggest complaints you will find in other sellers' feedback (other than outright fraud), are inflated S/H Rates and Lengthy Shipping Times.
Regarding Buyer Feedback, we've arranged with a private company to automatically generate buyer feedback and spend this saved time on the "operations" end of an eBay transaction. The buyer's feedback is automatically left as soon as the buyer leaves positive feedback for us. If after giving us feedback, you do not receive your feedback after seven days, please contact us. Internet glitches sometimes cause this third party service not to work 100% of the time. Be sure to include the listing number on ALL correspondence and checks. |

Nissan ESFLOW: Electric Sports Car
Wed, 09 Feb 2011Nissan ESFLOW Electric Sports Car As Tesla has already proved, if you throw enough money at it, employ enough publicists (including self-publicists) and string enough laptop batteries together, you can make an electric sports car. And, because of the lightness of construct and instant torque of an electric motor, you can make it sprint to 60mph in pretty short shrift. Whether, with all the lard that comes with thousands of laptop batteries, you can make it go round corners properly… Which has obviously inspired Nissan to send the LEAF and the 370Z off to conjugate somewhere suitable, with orders to deliver up the resulting oxymoron – an electric sports car – to the Geneva Motor Show.
McLaren F1 GTR up for auction at the Quail
Wed, 11 Apr 2012Six-hundred horsepower seems rather paltry figure these days. Sure, it was big stuff when Ferrari introduced the 599 more than a half-decade ago. But these days, Ford will sell you a lowly Mustang with 650 ponies and a factory warranty.
Ken Block plays with a MK II Escort!
Mon, 14 Sep 2009Ken Block goes out to play with a 1978 MK II Escort Early Ford Escorts were capable of more smiles per mile – certainly on a budget – than anything else on the road at the time. My earliest fun with an Escort was even earlier than this in an Escort Mexico – which was a white, 1974 model. Huge fun and very quick by the standards of the day.
