Taking snap-shots of the future of Toyota, they are said to represent the 'near-future, mid-term and far out.' And that’s it – alongside a solitary teaser photo that’s all we’re getting out of the Japanese automotive giant for now. But a source inside Toyota GB confirmed to CAR that this concept is not the new Prius, and that the production version of the infamous petrol-electric hybrid will debut alongside this EV concept.

Strictly, it’s not a powered-up, hard-core model in the vein of, say, a Nissan Skyline V-Spec (though wouldn’t that be wonderful?), but a special edition to celebrate the Ghost’s fifth birthday. So don’t expect to see this Ghost hauling itself around the Nurburgring Nordschleife in the near future.
