White Nitrous Bottle Lamp, with new Black Shade.  Height is app. 18 1/2 inches including Shade, and app. 3 inches wide.  Item is NEW NEVER USED but does have a few scuffs around the NOS label.  To my knowledge, this can't be found in stores, it is completely handmade.  Perfect Working Order.

Tom Medley 1920-2014

Tom Medley, best known as the creator of the hapless and humorous hot hero Stroker McGurk, passed away March 2 of natural causes in Los Angeles at the age of 93. While Medley was best known for his McGurk character, he was part of the media empire that was Hot Rod magazine from just after its inception until his retirement 37 years later. Medley was a photographer as well as a cartoonist, covering the first Bonneville speed week and the Indy 500 from 1950 to 1964.

Speed cameras to be switched back on

The mayor of Bristol has announced that speed cameras across the city will be switched back on after they were turned off two years ago. Mayor George Ferguson said that work will start in 2014 to re-commission the 26 speed and traffic light cameras that lost funding from central government in 2011. 'Fuel thieves' held in flood area

THREE MORE alleged fuel thieves have been arrested in the flood-stricken Somerset Levels. Police stopped the trio at 4am today near the flooded village Muchelney and found drums and an electric pump in their 4x4. The men, aged 51, 35 and 24, are now being held at Yeovil police station.
