The news means that the Focus 1.6 Studio five-door hatch will cost from £13,995. The new VW Golf – the MK 7 – was revealed today in Berlin and we’ve got the first official photos ahead of VW’s official release. Looking more sophisticated than the current Golf, the new Golf is underpinned by VW’s MQB Platform – which also underpins the new Audi A3 and SEAT Leon – and comes in at up to 100kg less than the current Golf.
Aston Martin DBS R in the works?

If the rumours are true, and we’re starting to think they are, then the DBS will be following in the footsteps of its predecessor – the Aston Martin Vanquish. The Vanq got an upgrade package after a few years to the Vanquish S (but it seems unlikely that AM will dub the upgraded DBS the DBS S, but who knows?).
